Acorn Juice Solutions is a studio founded by two partners with extensive experience in software development and infrastructure implementation, based in Navarra, Spain. We build scalable, well-crafted software — from utilities and widgets to mobile apps, websites, APIs, pipelines and cloud infrastructure — that solves real problems for real people and teams.

Beyond our own products, we also work with teams as an extension of theirs. A short, honest list of what we can take on:
- Cloud migrations and modernisation
- From on-prem or legacy environments to well-architected cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS or Google Cloud. Migration planning, cost modelling, and hands-on execution.
- CI/CD pipelines
- Analysis and definition of build, test and release pipelines applying modern best practices — reproducible builds, gated releases, secret hygiene and rollout safety by default.
- Full-stack software delivery
- Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, Angular. Backend services, APIs, front-ends and the database work that ties them together. Comfortable across stacks and legacy code.
- Infrastructure and networking
- DevOps automation, environment provisioning, monitoring and networking — including Mikrotik router configuration for on-prem or hybrid setups.
- Training and digital skills
- Technical training for developer teams (best practices, security, CI/CD, cloud) and digital-competencies sessions for non-technical staff. Sessions in Spanish or English, remote or on-site, tailored to the team's starting level.
How we work
Every product and every engagement — commercial or not — follows the same five principles.
- Best practices, by default
- Code review, tests (unit, integration and E2E), documented conventions and CI that fails loud. Nothing ships that we would not be comfortable handing off to a senior partner.
- Proven patterns over shortcuts
- Design patterns and architectural choices with a track record. We reach for the well-understood solution first, and only consider the clever one when it truly fits.
- Security is not an afterthought
- Input validation at trust boundaries, secrets kept out of the repo, principle of least privilege, and a dependency inventory (SBOM) with every release, so we know what we ship when a vulnerability lands. Built in from the first commit, not bolted on before release.
- Iterative, reviewed delivery
- We work in short cycles: sprint planning, incremental delivery and client review every iteration. Adjusting early is cheaper than fixing later.
- Time well spent
- We take time seriously: short, agenda-driven meetings, automation for anything that repeats, and focus on the work that adds value. Less noise, more outcome.

In my line of work I've had to subcontract a company to configure data networks, VPNs, 5G communications, etc. — all of it running on MikroTik equipment. Javier, from Acornjuice, isn't just an expert in the field; he goes well beyond simply configuring the devices. He advises on installation, spots areas for improvement and pays close attention to cybersecurity angles you might not even have considered.
